Based on the CBS era, lower output  Humbucking split coil pickup. Using Reverse Wound coils & Reverse Polarity Magnets  to cancel Hum across the 2 coils for a pickup that’s quieter in operation than a single coil . Features a brighter response with the tonal range emphasis on the high’s & low’s & with an open sound quality characteristic of  hand scatter wound pickups

Hand scatter wound with 42AWG plain enamel wire

Tough Phenol or Fibre flatwork as standard

Modern earth shielded or cloth covered hook-up wire

Wax saturated (potted) against microphonic feedback
