A High output single coil drop-in replacement for 2 popular Soap bar types. Designed to replace Factory pickups of B4 / Bc4 type & Bart Mk 1 & 2. Both Our J4 High output single coil types have identical internals, only the cover is different allowing for use on many popular Bass Guitars & Custom builds.

The J4 standard

has a footprint of 108mm X 34mm, while the J4 mini

has a footprint of 100mm X 29mm. Both these J4 types have been designed to replace a low output, standard, factory built Soap bar  With a punchy, clear & open toned  Custom pickup made from the best materials available.

ALL Herrick pickups are supplied with fixing screws & metal coil springs. We strongly advise against using a FOAM type cushioning under our pickups as FOAM can distort or damage the pickup covers we produce & interfere with the pickup's ability to function correctly.
