4 COIL MM / OLP HUMBUCKING PICKUP

A replacement humbucker for MM / OLP bass guitars featuring multi coil technology. The coil configuration is as a split-p to give extra emphasis on the bass for the E & A strings & extra treble response on the D & G strings. A very different tone than the 8 coil pickup. Full earth shielding,for a pickup that is very quiet in operation with an absolute minimum of cross talk between strings. Perfect for studio work while adding the dynamic tone that the split-p is so famous for. PLEASE NOTE: the pickup cavity needs a depth of  25mm to use the 4 coil pickup & reworking the cavity may be needed in a standard bass. Please check before you order. A replacement pickup for 4 string MM basses that is a lively, punchy & serious tonal upgrade

ALL Herrick pickups are supplied with fixing screws & metal coil springs. We strongly advise against using a FOAM type cushioning under our pickups as FOAM can distort or damage the pickup covers we produce & interfere with the pickup's ability to function correctly.
